Gluecrawl is operated by Deep Soup Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Gluecrawl (the “Service”). In these Terms, “Gluecrawl”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the provider of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
Gluecrawl is an automated web data extraction platform. You provide a target URL and a plain-language description of the data you want, and our system maps the target website and returns structured output (such as CSV or JSON).
Service availability. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. It may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time, and may contain errors or produce incomplete results. Features, pricing, and availability are not guaranteed.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You are solely responsible for the targets you choose to extract data from and for how you use the resulting data. By submitting a target to the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal right to access and extract data from each target website, and your use does not violate that website’s terms of use,
robots.txtdirectives, or technical access controls. - Your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including intellectual property, anti-hacking, and data protection laws.
- You will not use the Service to collect personal data unlawfully or to process personal data without a valid legal basis.
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Extract, store, or distribute content that is infringing, defamatory, or unlawful.
- Circumvent security measures or gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data.
- Place an unreasonable load on, disrupt, or otherwise harm any third-party website or infrastructure.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service itself, or build a competing service from it.
- Interfere with, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
5. Subscriptions and Payment
Access to the Service is offered on a subscription basis. Subscription plans and pricing are shown in the product and may change with reasonable notice. Unless cancelled, a subscription renews automatically for successive billing periods.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor and may also be subject to that processor’s terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time; refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes that are not collected on our behalf.
6. Your Content and Data
You retain all rights to the data you extract through the Service (“Output”). You are solely responsible for the Output and for ensuring that your collection, storage, and use of it is lawful. We process and store job configurations and Output to provide and operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your Output), is owned by Gluecrawl and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gluecrawl and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gluecrawl from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your Output, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right — including any claim arising from your extraction of data from a website you were not authorized to access.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before pursuing formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.
